Skill Development Training organized by SHED and ECGC under CSR Initiative

The skill development project organized by SHED, Mumbai commenced from 1st January, 2018 at six locations namely in urban area Dharavi, Kalina, Andheri – Mahakali, Jogeshwari, Andheri and in rural area at Saphale.


The target for the year is to reach out 2925 youth. SHED has reached out to 1112 youths in two quarters of the year. Along with that more than 70% jobs to be created through these trained beneficiaries. The beneficiaries belong to below poverty level family, schedule caste (SC) and other backward castes. The performance of the students deserves to recognize them in the society. ECGC has proud to jointly do such efforts in association with SHED.


SHED organized a function at its Kalina Centre on 10th August 2018 to hand out the Certificates to all those students who have completed their courses in Skill Training.
Mr. Maneck Davar, (Acting President – SHED), Mr. M Senthilnathan (Executive Director –ECGC) and Mr. Shivaji M Narvekar (General Manager – ECGC) and other officials of SHED grace the occasion. The photographs of Certificate distribution are placed below:
