ECGC Limited and Export Credit Insurance Agency of Russia (EXIAR), Russia, has signed a Reinsurance Framework Agreement.

“ECGC Limited (ECGC), India’s premier Export Credit Agency (ECA), and Export Credit Insurance Agency of Russia (EXIAR), Russia, have signed a Reinsurance Framework Agreement to enhance support for exports by Indian companies in Russia and vice versa. The agreement was signed in Moscow by Mr. Subir Kumar Das, Executive Director, ECGC Limited, and Mr. Nikita Gusakov, Chief Executive Officer, EXIAR. This agreement highlights the strong commitment of both ECAs to enhance cooperation and establish a robust reinsurance framework that will facilitate exports by Indian companies in Russia and vice versa. This collaboration is projected to open up new avenues for trade and investment between the two countries, thereby providing a boost to the Make in India initiative of the Government of India”.
