ECGC delegation participated in the Berne Union (BU) Spring Meeting in Istanbul during May 9-12, 2022. The Berne Union is the leading global association for the export credit and investment insurance industry. Annually, Berne Union members provide around USD 2.5 trillion of payment risk protection to banks, exporters and investors – equivalent to 13% of world cross border trade for goods and services. Shri Sunil Joshi, ED ECGC addressed the representatives from global Export Credit Agencies in his capacity as the Vice-Chair of the Short-Term Committee. On the sidelines of the BU meeting, ECGC delegation had a bilateral discussion with its counterparts NEXI (Japan) and Enterprise Singapore (Govt. of Singapore agency) to deliberate on the areas of future cooperation.
